TLOAD is a terminal automation system designed to manage and control loading operations at refineries, fuel terminals, and bulk loading facilities. It automates the loading activities, validates drivers and vehicles, captures accurate measured quantities, and generates the Bill of Lading for each completed load. TLOAD delivers a clean, validated terminal transaction to SAP and other ERP systems, helping terminal operators improve operational efficiency invoicing speed, data accuracy, traceability, and loading control.
What terminal automation software does
A loading terminal is a sequence of controlled handoffs. A driver arrives with an order or authorization to pick up or drop off product. The order or authorization, product, driver, and related transaction details must be confirmed and validated before the transaction can proceed. Once the dead-man switch is engaged, the loading rack must deliver the exact authorized quantity while measuring it accurately. Once loading or unloading is complete, the required paperwork is generated and printed, including the Bill of Lading (BOL).The transaction must then be posted to the ERP backend as a valid inventory and financial transaction. The BOL must accurately reflect what occurred and provide a reliable record that can withstand operational, financial, and audit review.
Done manually, each of those handoffs is a place where a terminal loses time and money ,misloads, unrecorded movements, discrepancies, drivers waiting at the gate, and month end reconciliation that takes days. Terminal automation sofware closes those gaps.

Confirms driver and vehicle authorization before loading is permitted, so an uncertified driver or an unapproved vehicle cannot start a load.
Load rack automation
Drives the loading rack directly controlling the equipment that delivers and measures product, so the authorized quantity is what actually gets loaded.
Weighbridge integration
Connects terminal scales into the same workflow via RS-232 or modbus TCP, so weight-based movements are captured automatically instead of being written down and keyed in later.
Bill of Lading generation
Produces the BOL from what the rack actually measured, at the moment loading completes — not reconstructed afterwards from notes.
Real-time monitoring
Provides browser-based visibility into live terminal operations, showing trucks currently at the terminal, their loading or unloading status, and the real-time progress of each transaction.
From loading rack to SAP/ERP (without custom ABAP if using SAP)
Automating the rack solves half the problem. The other half is that terminal activity has to become a posted transaction in the ERP — and for most operators that has historically meant custom ABAP code inside the SAP core, which is expensive to build and painful to carry through upgrades.
